Area golfers make big impact

It was another successful year for the W.E. Cole Cotton States Amateur Invitational golf tournament at Bayou DeSiard Country Club in Monroe.

With more participants than ever before and a renovated golf course, things seemed fresh and inspiring for everyone in attendance.

The tournament featured top amateur golfers from across the United States as well as Argentina, France, New Zealand and South Africa.
