Tannehill named St. Frederick's new head football coach

Officials at St. Frederick High School introduced Jeff Tannehill as the Warriors new athletic director and head football coach on Tuesday.
Tannehill comes to St. Frederick from Neville, where he served as a football assistant and head softball coach since 2005.

Tannehill began his football coaching career at LaSalle, where he took over head coaching duties in 2000 after three years as an assistant. After leading LaSalle to an undefeated regular season record in 2003, Tannehill took a job as football offensive coordinator and head softball coach at St. Frederick in 2004, before landing at Neville.

Tannehill takes over a Warrior squad that went 7-4 last season on the gridiron.
