Committee planning annual Black History Parade

The Renaissance Movement Committee is making plans for its 32nd annual Black History Parade in honor of February's Black History Month.

Churches, businesses, civic and social clubs, organizations, fraternities, sororities and schools are requested to participate in this year's parade.

The parade will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23. Parade lineup will begin at 7 a.m. on Washington Boulevard at North Sixth Street. The parade will start at 10 a.m.
Participants must turn in an entry form, signed participant's agreement and parade fee no later than Feb. 18. All parade entries should be submitted to: Renaissance Movement Committee, P.O. Box 865 - Monroe, La. 71210-0865.
