St. Fred continues hunt for new coach

St. Frederick is the latest school to find itself in search of a new head football coach after principal Guy Farber announced last week the Warriors were parting ways with Chad Swanberg.

Swanberg leaves St. Freds after guiding the Warriors to a 7-4 record in 2012 and its first playoff appearance since 2009.

"We wish the best for Chad and still consider him a part of the St. Frederick community," Farber said in a statement. "There is a renewed excitement about St. Frederick football because of the team's improved performance."
