Life a reflection of one's thoughts by Leonard Gray - posted Thursday, January 31st, 2013 @ 12:00 pm Whatever you think about the longest becomes the strongest. When I taught in the high school classroom, one of the most rewarding moments was when I saw a student's mental light ignite. I would see his face take on a new expression.
His demeanor was one of great satisfaction. I witnessed the joy that came over him as he uncovered the answers to questions that were once considered beyond his comprehension. I could read his facial expressions that revealed a new identity to his character, "Hey! I get it! I understand what you are talking about!"
could then see an eager anticipation for the material that he was about to digest. "Coach Payne. I understand. Give me more. Now I know how to apply this knowledge that has been presented to me. I want more! Learning is an exciting experience." And from that moment on, the student became a self-motivated and self-led individual. All I had to do as his teacher was to be his guide and furnish him with material that stirred his gifts. .....
