Members of the Monroe City Schools superintendent search committee met Tuesday to announce the proposed delay of the superintendent selection and to discuss the process of evaluating the 19 applicants for the position.
The committee went over a new screening timeline that would have the School Board select the new superintendent on April 9. The initial date for naming the new superintendent was March 12.
The committee's discussion of the screening process and the evaluation tool provided by the School Board resulted in members suggesting that the screening process and superintendent selection be delayed.
