Sometimes best coaches just stand back by Robert Charles Payne - posted Thursday, January 24th, 2013 @ 12:00 pm Every time that I had a chance, I would watch Tim Tebow play. He was one of the most exciting players you could ever watch.
I wish that I knew what was behind what I consider the "blackballing" of this young man. What else could it be? It does not make any sense what has happened to him since he turned professional. Every time Tebow has been given a chance to perform he has produced. Not even the great Eli Manning could do what Tebow did at Denver. This is not a knock against probably one of the greatest, if not the greatest quarterbacks to have played in the NFL, but not even he could do what Tebow did at Denver.
There is no rhyme or reason to justify what has happened to Tebow in New York. Coach Ryan's (if he was the one who made the call on Tebow) IQ must be somewhere in the single digit range. Not only did this genius play with the future of one quarterback, but he also masterminded the fall of another quarterback. .....
