Time wasted or time invested by Robert Charles Payne - posted Thursday, January 10th, 2013 @ 12:00 pm One of the greatest gifts that we've been given is our time. When we remember that it is the small things that make a great big difference, we should be aware that years are made of months, months are made of weeks, weeks are made of days, days are made of hours, hours are made of minutes, and minutes are made of seconds.
How valuable is your time? How well do you manage your time? Suppose I would tell you that I will give you $86,400. The only stipulation is that you must spend the entire $86,400 within 24 hours of receiving the money. You can not put it in savings. You must spend it. Whatever amount that you have left at the end of that 24-hour period must be returned to me. You can not reclaim any of the unspent money.
Now what would you do? Do you think that you would spend it all? Of course, you would. No one would be so foolish as to throw away this money; but that is exactly what we do with our time. We are given 86,400 seconds every day. How much of that time do you spend wisely? The time that you spend can never be returned to you. Time cannot be saved for another day. .....
