River rivals clash: Lions vs. Rebels

The West Monroe Rebels, rated No. 31 in the Ken Ramsey power rating polls, face a daunting challenge Friday night as they cross the river to clash with the No. 2 Ouachita Parish Lions in a district basketball contest.

Friday night marks both teams' first 2-5A contest of the season.

The Lions (18-4) meet the Rebels on the court after winning the Don Redden Memorial Classic title last week with a 73-64 victory over Richwood.
