OCS battles title-hoarding Haynesville

For the third consecutive year, the Ouachita Christian Eagles visit the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for the Class 1A state championship contest, battling the Haynesville Golden Tornado for the title at 4 p.m. on Friday in New Orleans.

The top-seeded Eagles clinched a finals berth crushing No. 5 Kentwood Kangaroos with a 35-0 shutout in last week's semifinals contest marking the Eagles' second shutout win during the playoffs.

Haynesville bought a ticket to the Superdome with last week's win over West St. John where Haynesville edged a 36-35 victory.
