WMHS field named after coach Don Shows

When next the West Monroe Rebels play a home game, they'll do so on a field named in honor of their coach.

The West Monroe High School football field was officially designated the Don Shows Field Nov. 16 during half time of the Rebels' second-round playoffs game against Acadiana.

The Ouachita Parish School Board voted unanimously at its regular meeting in early November to name the field after Hall of Fame coach Don Shows.
