OCS throttles Oak Grove, targets Southern Lab

The Ouachita Christian Eagles advance to the third round of playoffs to battle the visiting No. 9 Southern Lab. on Friday night.

No. 1 Ouachita Christian trounced the No.17 Oak Grove Tigers for the third straight season with a 28-0 shutout qualifying the Eagles for Class 1A quarterfinals.

Southern Lab (10-3) collides with the Eagles (12-0) after edging a 28-21 victory against Pointe Coupee Central last week in the second round of playoffs.

The winner of Friday's contest will enter semi-finals to play Kentwood or Basile for the rights to visit the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
