Sometimes you can learn more from a few simple words that have meaning than you can from a litany of words that speak too much.
I have collected more than 1,000 of these statements over the years. Some have made me chuckle. Some have made me think of challenging times. But all of them have made me think. I gave credit to those who were responsible for making the statement, but left it blank if who said it was unknown.
1. The mind is the boss of the body. 2. If you find the job you love, you will never work another day of your life. Curtis Carlson 3. What is essential is invisible to the eye. 4. You cannot plough a field by turning it over in your mind. 5. Faith is what makes stuff stuff. 6. You can't send a duck to eagle school. 7. You can't throw an egg in the barnyard and expect it to be crowing by morning. It takes time to get the job done. 8. Change is good. You go first. 9. The empires of the future are the empires of the mind. Sir Winston Churchill.
