LSU moves up in polls posted Sunday, November 11th, 2012 @ 10:19 pm BATON ROUGE -- Following a 37-17 Homecoming victory over Mississippi State on Saturday night, the LSU football team moved to No. 8 in the AP Top 25, the USA Today Coaches poll and the Harris Interactive Poll.
After a string of five-straight games against ranked opponents, LSU (8-2, 4-2 SEC) next faces Ole Miss at 2:30 p.m. CST on Saturday. The game will be broadcast nationally by CBS.
In the Bowl Championship Series standings, the Tigers remained No. 7.
