Employees of two area colleges will be able to increase their educational levels at a reduced cost, thanks to a new agreement between the University of Louisiana-Monroe and Delta Community College.
ULM and Delta signed a Memorandum of Understanding, or MOU, earlier this week that enables employees at the two institutions to take classes at the other institution for a reduced fee.
ULM President Nick Bruno said employees of Delta Community College's numerous campuses will save roughly $500 per course they take at ULM. That's roughly half-price, according to Bruno.
"They'll have the same benefit as our employees," Bruno said.
