Riley jailed for non-support

A former candidate for Monroe Mayor will serve 90 days in jail after failing to pay thousands of dollars in back child support.

Johnny Riley was arrested and booked into Ouachita Correctional Center late last week for failure to pay more than $22,000 in child support to two different custodial mothers.

Riley must spend 90 days in jail or post a $3,600 bond.

Friday's arrest was not Riley's first brush with the law.
