Sterlington, Homer collide for 2A high ground

The Sterlington Panthers open their stadium for a District 2-2A contest against the Homer Pelicans on Friday night.

The Panther squad overwhelmed the Ferriday Trojans in Ferriday last week, 49-34. The win improved the Panthers season record to 5-4 and district standing of 4-0.

The Pelicans, with a guaranteed advance to 2A playoffs (7-2, 4-0), meet Sterlington after last week's 36-8 win over Jonesboro-Hodge.
