Tigers lead 4A

A dominating defensive performance and four John Diarse touchdowns highlighted Neville's 28-0 victory over Franklin Parish on Friday, as the top-ranked Tigers solidified their fourth consecutive District 2-4A title and second straight undefeated regular season with the win over the Patriots on the road.

With the victory, Neville (9-0, 4-0 in 2-4A) extended its winning streak to 23 games and stated its case to be Class 4A's top seed when the playoff brackets are released this Saturday. While most schools are playing their season finale's Friday night, the Tigers are in the clubhouse with the lead thanks to a bye in the final week of the regular season.
