More smiles add miles to your life

Our first story is about two farmers. One farmer was the eternal optimist and the other farmer was the eternal pessimist.
When it rained, the optimist would always brag about the cool rain and how it watered beautifully all God's creations. The pessimist would comment that the water would probably drown everything around.
When the sun shone, the optimist would comment on the beauty of the magnificent sun rays and the pessimist complained that the sun would probably dry everything up. The optimist went out and bought a Labrador retriever. This was no ordinary dog.
The retriever could walk on water. Instead of swimming after the ducks, the unusual dog would walk across the top of the water, get the ducks, and bring them back as he walked across the water.
