Panthers on prowl for Warriors

The Sterlington Panthers entertain the Lakeside Warriors from Sibley for District 2-2A competition Friday night.

The Panthers edged an 18-14 win against the Oak Grove Tigers and posted their first win of the season. So far, the Panthers are 1-4 in regular season play.

"We controlled the ball better and we had no turnovers," said Sterlington Panthers head football coach Mike Collins. "Whenever you have that, it's a good marriage."
