Mustangs visit Riverfield in Rayville

The River Oaks Mustangs enter a bout against the Riverfield Academy Raiders in Rayville for a non-league contest Friday night.

The Mustangs kept the Prairie View Academy Spartans scoreless in a 42-0 shutout during last week's District 3-AA game which was also the Mustangs' homecoming.

"We needed that win against Prairie View," said River Oaks Mustangs head football coach Robert Hannah. "Now we just have to win district so we can host the playoffs and we're still in the running to do just that."
