Chiefs travel to Franklin

The West Ouachita Chiefs hit the road to battle the Franklin Parish Patriots in District 2-4A competition Friday night.

The victorious Chiefs sent the Grant Cougars home to Dry Prong last week after a 34-20 win. West Ouachita walloped the Cougars during the 2011 season with a score of 45-6. With last week's win, the Chiefs improved their season record to 2-3.

The Franklin Parish Patriots promise to make it a difficult challenge as the Patriots are 4-1 on the season. The Patriots defeated the Alexandria Trojans last week, 26-20 and edged a 22-20 win against the Oak Grove Tigers before that.
