OPSB seeks symposium vendors

Ouachita Parish School Board, in partnership with the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce and the State Farm Foundation, is proud to announce an upcoming fall Technology Symposium.

Along with representatives from business and industry, presenters will share with teachers up-to-date technology training and indicators of skills needed for today's students to be ready to work in local industries. The symposium will take place on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at West Monroe High School.

Around 1,000 elementary level teachers from Ouachita Parish and surrounding school systems will be in attendance.
