Proposals shall be addressed to the Ouachita Parish Police Jury, and delivered to the office of the Recording Secretary located at 301 South Grand Street, Room # 201, Monroe, Louisiana 71201 not later than 2:00 o’clock P.M. CDT, on the 25th day of October, 2012. Sealed bids to be marked “Sealed Bid – Ouachita Parish Police Jury Disaster Recovery Unit Project No. 37PARA3407 to be financed by the State of Louisiana DRU Program”. All bids must be submitted on the Bid Forms provided in the Specifications and Contract Documents. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 o’clock P.M. on the 25th day of October, 2012, in the Police Jury Conference Room in the Ouachita Parish Courthouse located at 301 South Grand Street, Monroe, LA. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid Proposal, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the Office of Lazenby & Associates, Inc., 2000 North 7th Street, West Monroe, Louisiana 71291 (Phone (318) 387-2710). Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent, Ouachita Parish School Board, 100 Bry Street, P.O. Box 1642, Monroe, LA 71210-1642 until 1:30 P.M. October 23, 2012, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for:

Bid forms and specifications may be obtained from the Ouachita Parish School Board, Purchasing Department. The School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids received.
Bidders also have the option to submit bids electronically. There is a yearly registration fee in order to use their service. Submission of an electronic bid requires a digital signature and an electronic bid bond when applicable.
