West Monroe deserves national recognition
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Editor:

As I write this, Dave Norris, Mayor of our city of West Monroe is being honored at the nation's White House as a "Catalyst for Change" for his leadership and work toward the city's new $20 million wastewater treatment plant. This new plant is designed to relieve pressure from the distressed Sparta aquifer.

I'm sure all residents of West Monroe and all of Northeast Louisiana will join me in congratulating Mayor Norris on this honor and the opportunity to showcase our fine city to the rest of the country.
