La Tech soccer ends on high note
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Louisiana Tech did more than just be competitive; they started the season by winning their first 11 games, shattering the previous school record for best start to a season (3-0).

They finished 11-0-1 in non-conference games with wins over Arkansas State, UALR, Lamar and Grambling State for the fist time in program history.

"It was only a short time ago this program was losing to such opponents, and that should never be forgotten," Sherry sad. "Going undefeated in non-conference play helped us get some regional and national recognition which in turn has helped spike interest from high-level potential recruits."
