Mustangs ready for postseason
The River Oaks Mustangs begin their quest for another MAIS state championship when they host a first-round football playoff game against Central Hinds Academy Friday.
River Oaks (9-1) wrapped up the district crown three weeks ago and looks poised to head back for a shot at the gold.
Central Hinds (7-4) will bring a physical rushing attack to Monroe on Friday and many might not be looking at the difficulty of the Hinds schedule.
