Man, woman arrested at theater

Officers with the West Monroe Police Department responded to an intoxicated person complaint on March 10 at the Tinseltown movie theater at 220 Blanchard St. in West Monroe.

The movie theater's manager and another customer informed the officer on-site that a male and female had to be wakened by the theater cleaning crew after a movie was over.

Officers identified the male and female as Steven Dale Hubanks and Melinda Jane Allen respectively, of 111 Westridge West Apt. D in West Monroe.

WMPD said Hubanks and Allen wandered around the theater for about 15 minutes while looking for their car keys. During this time, WMPD made contact with both and determined both to be intoxicated.
