Bulldogs capture another 3A crown posted Thursday, March 14th, 2013 @ 12:00 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  Carroll rallied from a double-digit third quarter deficit to topple District 2-3A rival Farmerville, 68-64, in the LHSAA Class 3A state championship game at Fant-Ewing Coliseum last week. The win last Thursday gives Carroll (26-6) its second state title in three years, winning the crown in 2011 before making it to the semifinals last year. The Farmers, playing in their first title game, started the contest off strong jumping to a 13-2 first period lead before the Bulldogs closed the gap to 15-8 heading into the second period. .....
