Critically-acclaimed author Ronlyn Domingue of Baton Rouge will have a reading and book-signing of her second novel, "The Mapmaker's War: A Legend," at the main branch of the Ouachita Parish Public Library at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

"The Mapmaker's War" recounts the story of a self-exiled woman in a faraway land long ago, who must reconcile herself to the life choices that have separated her from her homeland and her children. The book was released March 5 by Atria Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

Domingue's first novel was "The Mercy of Thin Air," published in 2005. A sequel to "The Mapmaker's War," called "The Chronicle of Secret Riven," will be published next year.
