Ouachita battles Scotlandville for title

The No. 1 Ouachita Parish Lions clash with No. 2 Scotlandville Saturday night in the Class 5A state basketball championship at the Fant-Ewing Coliseum on ULM campus.

The Lions clinched their state championship pass after last week's 82-78 overtime victory over No. 4 East Ascension at the CenturyLink Center in Shreveport.

In last week's semi-finals game, the Spartans (27-4) made a strong comeback in the last five minutes of the game to put the teams in overtime.
