Denham Springs downs Lady Rebels
The Class 5A No. 4 West Monroe Lady Rebels girls' basketball team couldn't get past the No. 5 Denham Springs Lady Yellowjackets in Monday's 53-45 loss at West Monroe.
The Lady Rebels (28-7) led past the break into the third period before the Lady Yellowjackets (26-5) claimed their first lead of the night.
West Monroe's Desiree Lyons sunk a basket to put the team within reach behind Denham Springs at 43-41.
