Yoyo fishing a great time with the kids

There is nothing like being daddy's girl in the Cheniere Lake Swamp in West Monroe. I still remember running yoyos with him, the accompanying sights and smells as we motored ever so carefully through the cypress knees and stumps.

We would have the best time cleaning the fish and bragging about all our secret locations. I do not have my daddy anymore and I, for the life of me, cannot find those secret places anymore, but now my new ones are being set as waypoints on my GPS.

I enjoy the whole concept of yoyo fishing. You can set out up to 50 per person and run them at your timely leisure within the next 24 hours. Let me stress to you, this is truly a great opportunity to take a child, because you are going from one site to another. It's anything but boring.
