New concept in neighborhoods

The housing market is an ever changing industry. It seems every generation redefines what it wants and needs and the industry is constantly adjusting.

The sprawling house of the mid 1900's was replaced by the even larger home appetite to include a few acres as far away as a commute would permit. The goal was to get away from the city and retreat to the leisure life style of the country. Now in 2013 with the coming of the 'boomer generation' another change is on the horizon.

A recent survey of 3,500 adults ages 45 to 65 when asked what they valued most they said having shops, medical facilities and places to worship within walking distances.
