God will keep his promises

Trust me…I promise" We Hear a lot of that in proposals of every kind whether it be in marriage, business, politics…whatever.

Well I, for one, am for promise keeping—so long as the promises are for good. Certainly our homes, marriages and families are suffering terribly from people who have made promises (vows) to each other and to God…but have failed to keep those promises. "For better or worse…for richer or poorer…'til death do us part?" These are big commitments! These are certainly deserving of our time and attention.

But, for the moment, let's think about God…and His promises…and He has made a lot of them. A few of the more obvious and well known are:
