The faith of a mustard seed

Have you ever asked God to increase your faith? Have you ever caught yourself saying, "I need more faith"?

I want to ask you this question: "Is it more faith that we need?" Let's look at Matthew 17:20: "And Jesus said unto them, 'Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.' "

Did Jesus say to them that their faith had to be as big as a mountain? No! He said that if they had faith the size of a mustard seed, they could move mountains. Wow!
Jesus does not tell us that we have to have faith the size of a mountain. He says that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can tell the mountain to be removed. Jesus is saying that it does not take much faith at all and that the key is to use the faith you have. It is not the amount of faith, but the application of faith.
