Dianne Cage: Dec. Feb. 21, 2013 "And I say to myself what a wonderful world." I never tire of Louis Armstrong. That song and the way he sings it, just makes you happy! We are still celebrating. Bayou DeSiard Country Club was turned into a wedding in pink fantasy land this past Saturday. "Beautiful Beginnings by Bruce" helped create, with plans and outlined details, by the bride, DR. KAREN GRAY and her mother, MRS. JULIAN GRAY. There was not one detail that was left unturned. There were over 3,000 silk flowers, so beautiful that one would have to touch to realize they were not real.
There was a seated dinner for the 350 guests. Each table and chair was covered in cream colored silk. The chair covers were fastened with crystal bows of a pale pink. On each table were massive arrangements in 24-inch tall glass vases. The menu and agenda for the evening were placed in beautiful folded linen napkins along with a lovely shocking pink gift box at each place setting.
