Basketball state finals come to parish

The Monroe-West Monroe Convention and Visitors Bureau locked in four major youth sports championship events for the spring, beginning with the LHSAA boys' and girls' state basketball finals on March 6-9.

The basketball finals will be held at the Fant-Ewing Coliseum on ULM campus.

But youth sports coming to Ouachita Parish this spring also include the LHSAA state powerlifting championship, the boys' and girls' state tennis tournament and the Class 1A and 2A state baseball tournaments.
