Annual waste collection event planned for April 13
Keep Ouachita Parish Beautiful and Keep Louisiana Beautiful have teamed up the area KAB affiliates to host the 2013 Ouachita Parish Household Hazardous Waste Collection event at the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
The event will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Malone Stadium on the campus of ULM.
This will be the fourth HHW Collection event for this area and sponsors of the event are expecting a large turnout.
At the 2012 event more than 48,000 pounds of material were collected.
