Home selling season soon under way

As we move into the Spring months more homeowners will begin to consider selling their home. The dilemma will be can they sell their current home and how long will it take.

For most home owners, they must sell before they can purchase. The question becomes will anyone want the home I am leaving. As the homeowner you will see the flaws and limitations of your home that a new buyer will be able to overlook. There is a buyer for every home. It becomes your responsibility to make your home as appealing to a new owner as possible. How can you do this?

• PRICING YOUR HOME RIGHT is the first item for consideration. A buyer will not consider how much you owe, how much you need to net from the sale or how much value you place on the home. To get the price right to sell in a reasonable time you will need an independent opinion. You can this from an experienced realtor or from an appraiser.
