'Quest of the Keys' to help parish students develop life skills posted Thursday, February 14th, 2013 @ 12:00 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  The Ouachita Parish School Board and author Scotty Sanders announced the national pilot of the "Quest of the Keys" English language arts curriculum last week at the OPSB Administration Building. The "Quest of the Keys" curriculum will be incorporated in the Ouachita Parish middle schools beginning in April. "Quest of the Keys" is a young adult fantasy fiction novel written by Sanders to teach young adults the importance of developing personal character and life skills. The "Quest of the Keys" curriculum includes the "Quest of the Keys" book by Sanders, along with a teacher's edition, which provides additional guidance for building background and relating to prior knowledge, vocabulary, comprehension, written expressions and response. .....
