Tigers, Wildcats meet in tie-breaker

The Neville Tigers denied a red-hot Wossman squad the District 2-4A title last Wednesday, after the Wildcats came into the game reeling from seven consecutive district wins.

The Tigers and Wildcats squared off yet again in a tie-breaker last night to determine which team will hold claim to the outright district crown after The Citizen went to press. The original game was first scheduled for Jan. 15, but winter weather and school cancellations forced postponement of the game.

"We have to defend their outside shooting well," Neville coach Phillip Craig said. "It's going to be a tough game, but I think we match up well if we do that."
