OIB names new president

Clyde R. White, Chairman and CEO of Ouachita Independent Bank, announced last week the promotion of Chung Hong "Kevin" Koh to President, effective Jan. 1.
Koh replaces A.W. "Whitty" Hood, who retired in December.

Koh previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of OIB. Im addition to president, he will also serve as a member of the OIB Board of Directors.

Koh, who began his banking career as a management trainee at Ouachita National Bank in Monroe, has more than 27 years banking experience, ranging from Asset-Liability Management, Credit Analysis, Commercial Lending, Credit Administration and Bank Operations.

He joined OIB in 2003 after working with local, regional and national banks in Ouachita Parish.
