Correction noted posted Thursday, January 24th, 2013 @ 12:00 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  An article published last week by The Ouachita Citizen incorrectly reported that Ouachita Parish School Board member John Russell was elected vice president of the School Board at a meeting earlier this month. School Board member Carey Walker was elected vice president at the School Board's first meeting of the year. Walker succeeded School Board member Susan Spence. She served as vice president for the past two years. The School Board also re-elected Jerry Hicks as its president. The Ouachita Citizen regrets the error.
