Monroe chamber recognizes Farr, Weaver by Sunny Meriwether - posted Thursday, January 17th, 2013 @ 12:00 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  A longtime Monroe insurance executive is the latest winner of the Rambin-Silverstein Memorial Civic Award, the highest honor given by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. Joseph P. Farr of the Thomas and Farr Agency accepted the annual award from 2007 winner Linda Holyfield at the chamber's annual meeting and banquet last week. It was held Jan. 10 at the Monroe Civic Center. The Rambin-Silverstein Award recognizes outstanding individual leadership and service as well as community spirit and volunteerism.
