Too busy to go to church?

On a certain occasion, I spoke to a member of the church regarding his failure to attend the worship services. The reply was one which is often heard, yet when it concerns spiritual things, it can lead to the most frightening consequences possible to the soul! He said he was "too busy with some other things."

Proverbs 5:21-23: "For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings. His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins (too busy). He shall die without instruction: and in the greatness of his folly, he shall go astray."

Acts 8:21-23 "…thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the though of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art in the bound of iniquity."
