No one knows cliff effects for certain

Several people have mentioned the fact that there was no article last week. This is positive proof that there are at least a few who read this weekly article.

The short version of my excuse is I was suffering from food poisoning received from eating fried oysters at a local restaurant. My first case ever and believe me when I say let me have the flu twice rather than another case of this stuff.

We have heard so much about the 'fiscal cliff' lately that it is burned into everyone's brain. The question on every investor's mind is how will it affect my investments if and when I sell or my income from dividends or interest from savings. I spoke with a CPA this week and his answer was, "no one knows for certain."
