Rachel's Challenge continues in eastern Ouachita Parish schools

Ouachita Parish School Board has scheduled Rachel's Challenge presentations in six more schools beginning Wednesday, Dec. 5.

In addition, two community events will highlight the program and introduce key concepts to parents and stakeholders. The public is invited to attend the evening events.

Rachel Scott was the first victim to die when Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris opened fire at Columbine High School in 1999.

The Scott family established the Rachel's Challenge program to continue their daughter's legacy of kindness and compassion, according to Ouachita Parish Schools Superintendent Bob Webber.
