The Compassionate Friends of Northeast Louisiana will hold a Candle Lighting Service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at Grace Episcopal Church, 1400 N. 4th St., Monroe.

The theme is "Light a candle for all children who have died that their light may always shine."

The Compassionate Friends is a support group for parents, grandparents, and siblings after the death of a child at any age and for any reason.
