Over the Thanksgiving break, we were able to have our niece and nephews visit us at our camp in Jackson Parish. The 14-year-old twins, Lauren and Harrison Duncan, and 16-year-old Christopher Duncan were able to harvest their first buck. Lauren took a three-point buck with a primitive H&H 45-70 rifle that kicked like a mule but she was all griwn deer to find and haul back to the skinning rack. Previously, she had hunted two years with us and had never seen a deer on the stand. She had a feeling this was the time. .....
